Starbucks ‘Red Cup Day’ Strike: Workers Walk Out in Bid to Kickstart Negotiations

1000’s of unionized Starbucks employees went on strike Thursday on a busy gross sales day for the espresso chain in a bid to deliver the corporate again to the negotiating desk.

Baristas walked out on the corporate’s annual ‘Crimson Cup Day’ promotion for the second straight year, in keeping with the union representing them. Throughout the promotion, Starbucks provides clients a free reusable cup after they order a vacation drink.
